Welcome back! We want to thank you so much for sticking around and being an advocate for these children, youth, and families in need. As we move into this Fall season, we wanted to share some updates with you. This update will include some general announcements, our upcoming events and some promotional material.

| RESOURCE FAMILIES
Let’s share some facts with you. There are:
- 400,000 in Foster Care
- 60,000 are in California
- 4,000 in Riverside County
- 2,000 in Sacramento County
- 1,000 in Durham County, North Carolina

| Becoming a Resource Family (once known as Foster Family) can seem like a daunting task, but rest assured, we are here to hold your hand through the entire process. If you’ve ever considered becoming a Resource Family, now is the time! These children and youth need a place to feel safe and somewhere to call home! | HOST HOMES NEEDED!
Over 2,000 children and youth arrive as refugees in our country annually. These children and youth have been displaced in the current migrant crisis, and many of them need a safe and stable place to call home until they are able to be reunited with family. |

| Special Homes, or Host Homes, provide a safe and stable place to call home, guidance and help teach life skills necessary for successful independence, like cooking, budgeting, and maintaining a household, applying for jobs and colleges. Market Nights in Murrieta
Socal Specific
Stop by and visit our Jubilee Exchange Fair Trade Pop Up Shop at Old Town Murrieta as we join in to be a part of the community and spread knowledge on Fair Trade and its positive results on the world around us. We’ll be near the Lily Kelly Ministries building.

Orphan Awareness Month, Stand Sunday, & Coffee Sleeve Campaign

November is Orphan Awareness Month and we are jumping off of CAFO’s campaign for Stand Sunday in the month of November which is to Take a Stand to bring awareness to Adoption AND Foster Care. |

| Join us as we disperse Coffee Sleeves to our local churches and coffee shops to bring awareness to Stand Sunday and Orphan Awareness Month and how ICA is a part of the solution for these kids and families in need.
If your church or organization would like to be a part of the Coffee Sleeve Campaign it’s really quite simple. We will deliver coffee sleeves for you or your organization to use during the month of November. The Coffee Sleeve will have a slogan to bring awareness to Foster Care and Adoption and a QR code that will direct them to our website for more information. Please inquire using the button below and let us know you’d like to partake in the Coffee Sleeve Campaign.

| GivingTuesday – 11/29/22
“GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity around the world.”
This is an effort that was generated in doing good and giving with nothing in return. We have created a flyer and some printed material that you can distribute to your churches, your staff, or anyone you’d like to that may be wanting to donate to ICA and our efforts. Christmas Drive
Your sacrificial gift is a sacred trust.
From now until Dec 16th, ICA will be promoting a Christmas Drive. Our Christmas drive will give materials, resources, supplies, pajamas, and other items of need to our families in need. If you’d like to participate, we have flyers that we can drop off to you for distribute, or you can donate by visiting the website by clicking on the button below. |

| ICA Info Cards
It’s been a long time in the works, but they’re finally here! If you look at the photo it shows 6 different post cards, each layered in size and at the top is the general category or program that is correlated. |

| Together, these can stack together as you can see depicted, OR they can individually be used if all you’re handing out is about one program, etc. They all have QR codes that direct to correlating pages on our website. If you’re interested in receiving a bundle to hand out, please let us know. |

| Tear Tab Flyer
If you know of any coffee shops, college info boards, churches, office front, or anywhere else we can pin these up, please let us know! As much as possible, we’re going a little old school and having tear tab flyers canvased at all of our local businesses. If you’d like to lend a hand an want to pin them up yourself, please also let us know and we can deliver some flyers to you. |

- Please pray for our families that currently have Foster Placements.
- Pray that we can find more families to open up their homes to become Host Homes or Resource Families.
- Pray that our communities and churches will join us in advocacy.
