Child Abuse Prevention Month

The pinwheel is the national symbol for child abuse prevention, representing playfulness, joy and childhood.
Safe harboring a child in Foster Care promotes the importance of strengthening and empowering birth parents to prevent child abuse and neglect. When parents feel supported and become attuned to their own emotional/physical needs then children thrive.

Host an Info Meeting

Attend a private Zoom Information Meeting at your convenience. It’s a conversation not a commitment! You will learn about ICA as an agency, the programs, the process. It’s a wonderful opportunity to explore if foster care/adoption is a good fit for your family.

  • Our team as they prepare for an IAMME audit
  • We need more foster families, especially ones accepting older children/teens

Most of us know of the ‘love’ passage:

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails.” —1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (NIV)

Do you notice how love is action words, not feeling words? Messy people, messy children are not exempt from being impacted by true love.

ICA exists to preserve, protect and seek the potential of others to the glory of God.
